Noted Santa Fe architect John Gaw Meem designed this building. The National Historic Landmark and its furnishings were funded by New Deal programs. The art collection includes Native American pottery, furniture and paintings. Open 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Saturday.

The National Park Service office is the largest known adobe office building and one of the largest secular adobe buildings in the US. The actual construction was carried out under the auspices of the WPA. The building is an outstanding example of Spanish-Pueblo Revival Architecture. Native American, Hispanic and Anglo art collection from the 1933-43 period was acquired specifically for the building. National Historic Landmark.
